Please join Peter Wisbey, Curator of Collections, as he presents a history of the museum and its complicated and interesting process of development, as it now approaches its 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Wisbey\u2019s talk will highlight the three Lima buildings that were acquired and moved to the Genesee Country Village &amp; Museum: the 1797 Amherst Humphrey House from West Main Rd. in Lima; the \u201cTown Hall,\u201d William Hamilton\u2019s 1822 Inn from South Lima, as adapted for public use; and the 1850 Toll House \u2014the southernmost of Lima\u2019s two toll houses along the 23-mile Rochester and Hemlock Lake Plank Road.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Wisbey is the Wehrheim Curator of Collections at Genesee Country Village &amp; Museum \u2013 a position he has held for over 15 years. He was also the Executive Director of the Seward House Museum in Auburn.
